Active work has began on establishing cooperation with the International Labour Organization

The International Labour Organization (ILO), founded in 1919, and in 1946 became the first specialized agency of the UNITED NATIONS. Today, the ILO has 183 member countries-participants. Ukraine is a member of the ILO since 1954.

ILO – is a unique tripartite organization, which brings together representatives of governments, employers and workers organizations for the joint development of policies and programmes. The ILO as the world organization is responsible for the development of International labour standards and carries out supervision over compliance with them. In cooperation with the countries-members of the organization, the ILO seeks to ensure the observance of labour standards at the legislative level and in practice.

Has begun work on the development of the new General agreement

On 17 of January in Kiev in the House of Trade Unions of Ukraine held a meeting on the preparation of the General agreement for a new term, which was attended by representatives of member organizations FTU, the employers' organizations , academicians.

The Federation of Employers of Miners of Ukraine is officially recognized as a participant of social dialogue In accordance with the Article 5 of the Law of Ukraine on Social Dialogue in Ukraine the National Mediation and Conciliation Service conducted the procedure of assessment of conformity of the Federation of Employers of Miners of Ukraine with the criteria of representativity.

About the Federation

Federation of Employers of Miners of Ukraine is all -Ukrainian association of regional organizations of employers of enterprises of mining industry of Ukraine, formed in accordance with the Laws of Ukraine «About organization of employers», «About public associations».

A federation is non-profit public organization, that combines organizations of owners, employers of enterprises of mining complex of Ukraine and their association, on principles of voluntarily and equality of rights with the aim of representing and protection of economic, social and other interests of organizations of and separate employers at local, regional, all-Ukrainian level, and also with the aim of coordination and consolidation of actions of the members in the field of labour relations.
